5 Ways To Find Self-Love

This time of the year is focused on love, so why not focus on self-love and self-care. February is a great time to focus on finding yourself and loving who you are. We are a little over a month into the year and this is the point where a lot of people fall off their resolutions. We are here this month to remind you to keep on going with your goals and keep focusing on that self-love!

Our five tips for falling in love with yourself:

1. Find Passion: 

Having a hobby and exploring your creativity has been shown to greatly improve self-confidence. This will in turn help in the long run with other areas of your life such as creative problem solving in your career, and keeping up with your weight loss and health goals.

2. Connect with positive, uplifting people:

Distancing yourself from negative energy will dramatically help with your self image. You couldn’t imagine the weight on your shoulders having negative people in your life can create. You will instantly feel lighter and more energized just by eliminating the negative. Positive people will give you daily inspiration to love yourself and be your best self.

3. Pamper Yourself:

Pampering yourself can make you not only feel refreshed but give you a sense of empowerment. Even if it seems frivolous; taking little breaks to take care of yourself can help get you through even the most grueling of tasks. You will walk with a lot more pep in your step having taken the time. It’s a great practice to add this into your daily routine. Our favorite way is to create a nightly routine that feels indulgent and is technology free!

4. Practice Positive Self-Talk:

5. Nourish Your Body:

This may seem like a no-brainer but eating right and exercising for at least 30 minutes every day will do wonders for your self-esteem. Not only because of the changes you’ll see in the more after an amount of time, but it will make you feel stronger and more empowered on the inside. At the end of the day you want to make these changes to your body not because you hate what you see in the mirror, but because you love yourself and want to be the absolute best version of YOU possible.
